Many actors would love to play the role of James Bond and who would blame them with fast cars, beautiful women and international filming locations it is a dream role. It also seems that playing 007 has a positive effect off the screen too.
007's suave and sophisticated style seems to rub off onto the actors looking at Daniel Craig's latest style.

Create the look with Original Penguin Zipped Knitted Jacket, Luke 1977 Eddie Jeans and Common People Young Shoe or failing that pull on your tuxedo's for the classic James Bond look, a bit much for a trip to the shops.
The check shirt has undoubtedly been around for a while. It was sported in the fifties, modeled in the seventies and paraded in the nineties. Today, they are as popular as ever, but this time they are experiencing a slicker, more polished revival.
Far from the grungy silhouette often associated with the check shirt, today’s models are more slim-line to flatter the physique of the wearer. Lighter fabrics are best for layering, whilst details such as snap button fastenings give a nod to the blue-collar feeling.
As a rule, the checked shirt is one of those wardrobe staples that tends to go with most things, however, they generally tend to look best with simple, indigo, straight legged jeans so the look is relaxed, as opposed to unkempt.
Our Baracuta Zaragoza shirt in red is the epitome of smart casual and is perfect for any social occasion this season, whilst Original Penguin continue to be the go-to brand for shirts of all styles.
Other brands such as Luke 1977, Gabicci, and Aertex also have their fair share of checked designs which tick all the right boxes and will happily keep your style radar on the straight and narrow until the clocks go forward.

The iconic desert boot was designed by Nathan Clark, of the Clark’s shoe empire, after he was inspired by what the soldiers were wearing in Burma whilst he served there as an officer in the Royal Army Service Corps in 1941.
Upon returning to Britain, Nathan worked on designs for a brown, suede boot whilst he attended Staff College and sent his sketches and patterns to his brother, Bancroft, who was chairman of the Clark’s firm. After he was told by the Stock Committee superintendant that his boots would ‘never sell,’ Nathan showed his prototype to Oscar Schoeffler, the fashion editor of Esquire. The magazine ran a story on them and the desert boots became a bestseller.
Since then, more than ten million of Nathan’s boots have been sold in 100 countries and been seen on the famous feet of Bob Dylan and Robbie Williams amongst others. Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher loved the desert boots so much that he collaborated with Clarks to design his own version as part of his growing Pretty Green clothing label.
Today, many brands have been inspired by the infamous desert boots and have introduced their own styles to their collections. For something that is just as classic, have a look at the Fashicon range by Common People, who pay homage to the desert boot in their own suede and leather designs.
